Silo Ridge Resort, Amenia, NY 670 acres of rolling land on the border of Connecticut and New York will become a resort embracing a golf course redesigned by US and British Open Champion, Ernie Els. Designed as a New England village, the heart of Silo Ridge will be its town commons. The hotel, spa and fitness center will be the main focus of the resort, as well as a mix of town homes, condominiums, single-family residences, and selected commercial/retail at ground level. More than 80% of the site will be preserved as open green space. Jensen Fey is the architect of record for the 300 hotel condominium units, 4+-star restaurant, conference center, 40,000 sf spa and fitness center, golf club house, and 145,000 sf of below grade parking. With Robert A. M. Stern as design architect. Scheduled to open in 2009.
