Meadowlands, Lyndhurst, NJ
Located on the Hackensack River in New Jersey's Meadowlands area, the golf course resort with hotel and residential village sits on reclaimed land five miles from downtown Manhattan. The natural beauty of the restored wetlands and marshes supports the second largest bird sanctuary on the east coast—just a stone's throw from the cultural splendor of New York City and ‘The Meadowlands' sports complex.

Centered around a 27-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, the 300,000 sf four-star hotel will hold 350 rooms, 230 condominiums in three towers, 35,000 sf of conference space, indoor tennis courts, a 10,000 sf spa, two restaurants, 60,000 sf of retail, and a 1,000-stall parking garage. Designed to achieve LEED certification, Jensen Fey is the architect of record; Robert A. M. Stern Architects, design architect. Construction expected to begin in 2010.
