Hyatt Regency at Mission Bay, San Diego, CA With scenic ocean views and a historic boardwalk, The Hyatt Regency at Mission Bay was already a popular hotel for vacationers. The $60 million renovation of the 421 room hotel, however, transformed the guest experience and made the location a premier destination hotel in San Diego. The renovation included a dynamic redesign of the lobby, newly appointed guestrooms, full service spa, fitness center, a new courtyard with three pools, and a signature, waterfront restaurant. Construction was conducted during operating hours with minimal disruption for hotel and convention guests.
