Public Safety Facilities, Kirkland & Prosser, WA A jewel on the eastern shore of Lake Washington, the Kirkland waterfront beckons, parks provide cool oases, and the charming pedestrian-friendly downtown calls out to be explored. Jensen Fey has completed planning studies, site assessments and tenant improvements for several projects for Kirkland’s City Hall, City Hall Annex, Municipal Court, Maintenance Center, and Police Department. Driven by a need for more space, possible future annexation to the city, and a possible need to provide its own jail space, J|F conducted a site feasibility analysis for a public safety building, implementing the Public Safety Master Plan to locate the Police Department near the Municipal Court.
The rural community of Prosser sits in the heart of Washington wine country. Their facility space program for a new 20,000+ sf police building is completed, to be followed by site selections and concept designs.
