King County's fourth largest city, Kent, is conveniently located with a pivotal commuter rail link, Kent Station. The commuter rail station provided the growth direction to develop Kent Station, a contemporary urban lifestyle center where the community gathers to shop, dine, learn and celebrate. As a suburban city, Kent has successfully reinvented its core and continues, with careful planning, to expand amenities provided to residents.
The 76,000 square foot Kent Station 4, is an anchor of the development, offering a variety of retail and office spaces. Two floors of the building will be home to Green River Community College. The building utilizes sustainable strategies to provide a healthy building for tenants and visitors. Kent Station has achieved LEED Silver Pre-Certification through the United States Green Building Council and Green River Community College is pursuing LEED certification for Commercial Interiors.
